Mini Vinnie commissioning

Fifteen Key Stage Two children were commissioned as Mini Vinnies today. Michael Willcock from The SVP led the service. The Mini Vinnies were well supported by their parents.

We look forward to seeing what wonderful work the Mini Vinnies are planning to do this year.

Mary’s Meals

To celebrate the end of The Year of Mercy The St Lawrence’s Mini Vinnies led a whole school collection of school bags and supplies for the charity: Mary’s Meals. We collected 24 backpacks in total. God Squad 2018

Open The Book 2018

The Open The Book team have returned to St. Lawrence’s. They visit school each Tuesday and act out  a story from the Bible to Key Stage 1 and then to Key Stage 2. Each session ends with a prayer and a reflection. The first story was the story of Creation. Continue Reading

Noah

The Reception children have worked hard learning the songs and words for their end of term performance of Noah. What a fantastic end to  their first full year in school.
