Five a side Success

Our girls took part in the Catholic Primary 5 a side competition for gilrs on Wednesday 13 February.

They raced through the group stages scoring goals for fun. They recorded 5-0, 9-0 and 6-0 victories to qualify as group winners.

In the semi final, they overcame st Cuthbert’s Kenton 5-1 in an excellent display.

After a keenly contested final our girls lost 2-1 to St Alban’s with Extra Time needed to separate the teams.

It was a fantastic occasion where the girls did themselves proud both with their football skills and behaviour.

Well done team!!
