World Mental Health Day

Thousands of people are saying #HelloYellow to support children and young people’s mental health on World Mental Health Day.

At St Lawrence’s, we wore ‘yellow’ as part of an awareness raising campaign with www.youngminds.org.uk. and raised money for this charity.

In class, we watched a video, had lots of discussion and took part in some mindfulness activities. It is very important to talk about any worries you might have.

Soup fun in Year 5!

Year 5 were lucky enough to be visited by three Newcastle Eagles players, Themba Yabantu, Eddie Matthew and Kai Williams, as part of the Hoops 4 Health Basketball Roadshow. Choir and Orchestra Performance at St Joseph’s

Borrowdale

During the last 3 days of term, 30 Y5 and Y6 children were on a residential trip to Borrowdale in the Lake District.
