Nursery Celebrate World Book Day!

This week our Nursery children celebrated the 25th anniversary of World Book Day with a variety of events in school to promote reading. The children were invited to come into school dressed either in clothes they like to wear while reading or as their favourite book character. We launched a ‘story in a box’ competition, for the children to complete at home, where they could tell their favourite story.  We were very excited about having our parents come into school to stay and read with us.  We had juice and biscuits and even brought our cuddly toys along to listen too!  We ended the day by designing our own book token for a national book token competition. What a fantastic time we had! thank you to everybody who joined in.
