Year 5’s Godly Play

Year 5 had their Godly Play session yesterday and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We started the afternoon being greeted by Mrs Cooper and taking a seat in a circle. We then listened to the story of the Good Shepherd, which links to our RE topic of Memorial Sacrifice.

The children then got to choose where to play. There were lots of interesting activities to choose from, such as painting, clay modelling, sewing, collaging and building with bricks. They all had a great time!

We finished our lovely afternoon with prayers and a ‘feast’ of juice and biscuits.
