The Reception class find out about shapes

We have been finding out about 2D shapes this week. We went outside and looked for shapes in the school grounds – it’s amazing how many you can spot once you start looking! We also collected twigs and used them to make shapes – that helped us check how many sides and corners each shape has. Back in the classroom we used the 2D shapes to make shape families!
