Year 2 – British Values Week

Year 2 looked at the British Value of RESPECT. We spent the week investigating who and what we should respect. We began looking at ways in which we can respect ourselves. We then looked at ways of respecting others. We talked about respecting our school and also the environment in which we live.

We made an information poster at the end of the week for others to know how they can be respectful. We shared these ideas with the rest of the school.

We learnt a song about respect and sang it to the rest of the school.

We made links with our school Mission Statement and we realised that the words in our Mission Statement are the attributes of a good citizen.
