Amazing Angels in Year 3

On Friday we made our Angel of the North replicas. to finish off our Geography topic comparing the North East to London. We designed the replicas last week, thinking about the intent of our models and how someone might buy one for decoration or how a smaller version could be made even as a Christmas tree ornament. We chose our own materials from a choice of bases (kitchen roll tubes, tissue paper and card ) and used a range of materials including tissue paper, match sticks and cardboard. To finish off we used different shades of gold and bronze metallic paints.
