St Lawrence’s highlighted on Tyne Tees TV.

St Lawrence’s was the focus for a Tyne Tees’ story about home schooling this week.

Claire in Year 3, along with her parents, talked about the ups and downs of not being in school.

The family spoke about the importance of education and showed viewers how determined they were to ensure Claire and her siblings, two of whom also went to St Lawrence’s, do not miss out on their learning.  They are sitting down with Claire every day and also doing extra things such as cooking and art.

Claire added that she really misses her teachers and all of her friends.

Mr Brown spoke about how much all the staff were missing having all the children back in school.  He said; “We need the children back.  We want them all in front of us in the classroom as soon as safely possible.”
