Optician Visit in Year 3!

On Monday we were very lucky to have a visit from Angela who works as an optician. She told us all about how to look after our eyes but also how to keep safe in the sun. We learnt about UVA and UVB rays and looked at a model of the inside of an eye. Finally, we learnt how to choose the best pair of sunglasses for protection – you always need to look out for the CE sign! It was so useful to learn from Angela today, especially as we are in the middle of summer!
