Year 2 Art Extravaganza!

Today Year 2 invited parents to take part in  an art workshop as part of our art work this term on portraits.

We learnt how to draw facial features and we drew self portraits.

We also learnt about the artist Picasso and we made portraits in the style of Picasso using pastels.

In the afternoon we all made a self portrait using fabric.

What an amazing day, we all learnt such a lot.

A big thank you to all the mams and dads who helped today and especially to Victoria from the Laing Art Gallery who led the workshops.
