Linking Project In Year 2

Year 2 have had a fabulous time taking part in The Linking Project. We linked up with friends from Belsay Primary School in Northumberland. We enjoyed meeting with our friends by zoom throughout the year and in person at the Laing Art Gallery.

The project has been exciting and interesting and has had so many benefits for both schools. We have compared and contrasted where we live with where our Belsay friends live. We celebrated our similarities and differences. We enjoyed giving our penpals a puppet show during our final zoom. We really enjoyed the project and we were rather sad to say goodbye to our friends.
