Year 3 Beamish Visit

Today we had a wonderful trip to Beamish Museum! We were transported back in time to the Victorian era, as we dressed up as Victorian school children. We experienced a Victorian lesson where we had to work completely in silence! We visited some houses in the village and learnt about traditional rug and blanket making. Next took a tram ride into the town and visited the bakery, the chemists and the co-op! We even bumped into Miss O’Hare’s friend Dani who works at Beamish, she told us about the town and her job. What a wonderful day we had!
