Hoops for Health

Some of the Eagles basketball team came into school to work with Year 5 on keeping healthy. First they talked about the importance of exercise and how it affects the body. Then we had a go at different exercises such as star jumps, dancing and running.

After that we thought about how to stay healthy. We found out how much water we should drink ever day, the different types of food we should eat as well as a range of activities and exercises we can enjoy.

We finished off the afternoon with some basketball skills and a mini game of basketball. It was great fun!
