Year 6 University science trip

Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Newcastle University as part of National Science Week.

The children used the labs to conduct their own experiments, toured the campus as well as speaking to students about life at the university.

They were also able to take part in lots of experiments as part of a giant science fair.

Finally they attended a lecture looking at the history of our planet and seeing how different scientific reactions have shaped the world we live in today. It was a fantastic day with lots of pupils thinking about going to university when they are older to study science
