St Lawrence’s featured on ITV Tyne Tees report

St Lawrence’s was featured on an ITV Tyne Tees report looking at life in the Byker Wall.

Cameras highlighted the community spirit on show at the school’s summer fair and the diverse nature of different families who live close by.

In particular the piece showed the amazing number of languages that our children speak and interviewed a number of pupils.

Summer Party

Year 2 visit The Discovery Museum

Year 2 were invited to take part in a History workshop as part of the Exhibition of The North at the Discovery Museum. Charity juice and biscuit sale

Year 6 held a juice and biscuit sale for the whole school in aid of the mountain Rescue Service. Northumberland Park Visit

Chicks, ducklings and butterflies!

Hundreds of people enjoyed the school summer fair in beautiful sunshine. Lots of money was raised for class trips with a variety of stalls, games and activities.
