St Lawrence’s featured on ITV Tyne Tees report

St Lawrence’s was featured on an ITV Tyne Tees report looking at life in the Byker Wall.

Cameras highlighted the community spirit on show at the school’s summer fair and the diverse nature of different families who live close by.

In particular the piece showed the amazing number of languages that our children speak and interviewed a number of pupils.

Year 2 visit The Discovery Museum

Year 2 were invited to take part in a History workshop as part of the Exhibition of The North at the Discovery Museum. The Reception children have worked hard learning the songs and words for their end of term performance of Noah. What a fantastic end to  their first full year in school. Chicks, ducklings and butterflies!

Scorching summer fair

Hundreds of people enjoyed the school summer fair in beautiful sunshine.
