Year 2 Building Bridges at The Discovery Museum

Year 2 took part in Day 2 of their 2 day: Building Bridges Science and Technology challenge.at The Discovery Museum.

We learnt all about the History of the bridges on the River Tyne.

 

We then built on our skills learnt yesterday about the strength of materials and completed two experiments about building strong bridges which will hold different weights.

Year 2 are definitely becoming expert bridge builders!

Hoops 4 Health Tournament 2020

Year 5 were lucky enough to take part in the Year 5 Hoops 4 Health Basketball Tournament at the Newcastle Eagles Community Arena last Friday.
