Jubilee Celebrations in Year 2

Year 2 have enjoyed learning all about the reign of Queen Elizabeth ll as part our history unit about Famous People. We compared the the reign of Queen Elizabeth ll with Queen Victoria.

We drew portraits of the Queen and then we looked at the work of Andy Warhol and the Pop Art style and created pictures of the Queen in this style.

We had a special Jubilee celebration day in school. We enjoyed dressing up!

In the morning we made bunting, union Jack biscuits and crowns for our picnic.

In the afternoon we enjoyed a picnic with our families.

We all enjoyed getting our photographs taken with the Queen!

What a fantastic week!

Duck Eggs

Den Building in Forest School

Planting Sweetpeas in Year 3
