To bring our Friendship Week to a close, the children have all made friendship pledges. These have been written onto card people and decorated. Our Friendship Bus Stops were launched this week and have proved very popular with the children. Friendship Squad members have been on the look out all week for anyone standing at the friendship bus stop in need of a friend. Continue Reading
Our Mini Vinnies and School Councillors have raised lots of money today for the Youth Mission Team who work to support young people in our Diocese. Children were asked to come to school wearing a hoody and enjoy juice and biscuits for a donation to support this important cause. Continue Reading
Last week, the children of St Lawrence’s celebrated ‘Friendship Week’ in school. They thought about what makes a good friend through the various activities delivered in each class. They were particularly excited about ‘Odd Socks Day’ when they were given the opportunity to wear odd sock combinations to celebrate how unique and special we all are. Continue Reading
