St Lawrence’s minibeast Maths cafe

To help Year One with their Maths work on the theme ‘Money’, Year 1 set up their classroom as a minibeast cafe. We bought some strange minibeast snacks including ladybird pizza, beetles on toast and butterfly sandwitches! We had waiters, waitresses, chefs and of course customers. We had great fun and learnt all about the value of different coins and giving change.
