Y6 University Challenged

Year 6 spent a fantastic day at Newcastle University learning about life as a student.  The children took part in discussions about what students do and who can become a student.  They also worked on a quiz, which involved answering questions around the campus, as well as finally ‘graduating’ complete with caps and gowns.  All the children really enjoyed the day and it made lots of them think long and hard about how they can continue studying after High School.  We all agreed that students come in all shapes and sizes, from different family circumstances and backgrounds.  The main thing they have to do is work hard at their studies and try their best!
