Year 2 at Bamburgh

Year 2 had a fantastic visit to Bamburgh on Friday 9th June. It concluded a really fascinating History topic about significant people from the past. We have studied a number of local, national and international figures. We have learnt a lot about local heroine; Grace Darling and ended the unit by visiting the Grace Darling Museum and looking at the cottage where Grace was born in Bamburgh. We also visited St Aidan’s Church where Grace was baptised and buried.

It was a fabulous experience where we all learnt such a lot.
