Hide A Book in Lent!

Reception class boys and girls have joined together this week to work on a joint Lenten project.

We gathered lots of lovely story books which we planned to hide in the community for people to find and enjoy as part of our ‘giving’ in Lent.

Firstly Year 2 read the books and enjoyed all of the lovely stories.

Year 2 then wrote a review of the book to tell whoever finds the book about the story.

Year 2 then paired up with Reception class buddies and read the stories to them.

We then put the books into polypockets with an explanation about our ‘giving’ project so that we could hide then in the community.

We then went out into the community in small groups to hide the books so that the people of Byker can enjoy them.

We hope that families in Byker will enjoy these story books.
