Environmental art

The Reception children listened to ‘Who’s in the Forest’ read by Megan our Reader in Residence from Seven Stories. Following the story we looked at art made by the artist Andy Goldsworthy who made pictures from natural objects found in the forest  – and tried to create our own pictures too. We also made beds for our duplo people out of forest and natural materials.

Whilst we were collecting material for our pictures we noticed lots of butterflies – so we decided to make our own too!
