This week in Year 2 we have been thinking about feelings. We have based our work around the book Ruby’s Worry by Tom Percival.
This book has helped us think about our feelings and work out what to do when we are worried.
In our Literacy lessons we have worked on our prediction skills.
We wrote a letter to Ruby explaining how the book has helped us deal with our worries.
We then retold the whole story in pairs and acted it out.
We wrote or drew a retell of the story.
We enjoyed dressing in yellow on Friday for Mental Health Day. We made plates and wrote what makes us happy.
We enjoyed dressing up in yellow.
