Our DT topic this half was a cookery topic about making bread. We spent lots of time researching, planning and designing ideas for our own bread rolls. When we were ready to make our buns, we followed a basic bread recipe and then added our extra ingredients to make our final design. We chose the ingredients and equipment we needed at each stage. Once the dough was thoroughly kneaded, we shaped our buns using different techniques we had practiced earlier in the topic and left them to prove. They were then baked in the oven and left to cool.
