Last week, we celebrated Friendship Week in Year 5! During the week, we thought lots about what it means to be a good friend and how we can celebrate our differences.
We kicked off the week with Odd Socks day, where we considered what makes us unique, why being different is so important and designed a pair of odd socks to represent this. As well as this, some of us have been chosen to be part of the friendship squad on the yard, where we look out for children who might need a friend!
We also considered how we can be better friends to others and made a pledge to one another about how we can work together to make our school an even better place to be!
