Brilliant Borrowdale

Year 6 had an incredible time on their residential trip to Borrowdale in the Lake District.

Their teamwork, determination and impeccable behaviour made it a trip to remember.

A number of members of the public commented on what a wonderful group of children they were, whilst the instructors were blown away by their resilience when faced with difficult challenges.

They set about the hill walking, canoeing, rock climbing and ghyll scrambling (river walking) with great enthusiasm and everyone gave it 100%.

For some it was their first time away from home and they dealt with that brilliantly well.

The weather was kind and on the final day many wanted to stay on and enjoy the Lakes even more.
