Catholic Girls Five a Side tournament

The annual Girls catholic Five a Side competition took place on Wednesday 1 March 2017. Our girls were last year’s finalists and again gave an excellent account of themselves. Over six matches they won four and lost two.

Our two losses were by one goal each time. In total our squad scored an amazing 25 goals over the tournament and only conceded 6! Each member of the team scored – even our Goalkeeper!

Throughout the tournament our girls improved with each match and I was particularly impressed with how they thanked the referees and congratulated the winners at the end without being asked.
