Cinema Composers

Mr Olatunji came into school with his ipads and helped Year 6 compose their own music that conveyed different types of emotion – just like we hear on cinema score such as Harry Potter or Star Wars.  We used loops and instrument effects to create the thematic pieces before introducing our own motifs.  We created both light and dark pieces, using different techniques such as variation in key and dynamics. The motifs were designed to be instantly recognisable – just like many adverts currently on TV.IMG_3700
