Mock Baptism

Today Years 1 and 2 visited St Lawrence’s Church as part of our RE work about Baptism. We invited our families to join us.

Father Shaun welcomed us all, he blessed us and we prayed together. We had chosen Parents for our baby and godparents. We had a baby boy called Roman Peter who we wanted to Baptise.

We have been learning all about the signs and symbols of Baptism and the significance of them all.

We learnt such a lot and we enjoyed seeing what a Baptism would be like in a church.
