Safety Works Visit for Year 6

Year 6 had a very informative visit to Safety Works, looking at staying safe outside of school.

Experts from the Police, Fire Service, Metro and Road Safety departments were on hand to help guide the children through different scenarios.

Pupils really enjoyed the purpose built building, designed to mimic real-life situations.

The discussed how to stay strong in the face of peer-pressure and how making the right choices isn’t always easy.

It was a fantastic morning and helped the children think about how best they can stay safe.
