Teddy Bear Reading Scheme in KS!

Year1 and Year 2 have launched a new Teddy Bear Reading initiative. Each child has been given a teddy bear to read to.
When the children read 5 books you get to move up the teddy bear ladder. When every child in the class reaches 15 books we will have a teddy bear picnic. When everyone reaches 30 books we will go to Seven Stories to the Teddy Bear story exhibition.
On the day of the launch parents attended a workshop and read with their child in school. The children then went to Byker Library with their teddy and read a book to their teddy there.
