That History Bloke in Year 6

Year 6 were lucky to have a fantastic visit from That History Bloke to round off our unit of studies on World War II. Richard brought in a fantastic range of genuine and replica artifacts from the period, many of them associated with a single family from Gateshead. We were lucky to be able to hand many of the objects, including Air-Raid Warden helmets, gas masks and toys that were used by children in the period. We even got to sound a genuine air-raid siren!
