Y6 had a great day re-tracing the steps of some of the most famous inventors and scientists from our region.
We had a tour of the museum and learned lots about the likes of Joseph Swan, George Stephenson, Charles Parsons and George Armstrong.
We realised how our region had changed the world!
We also learned at how persistent and hardworking the famous scientists were and how we would need those qualities in spades to get anywhere.
