Year 2 visit St Lawrence’s Church

Year 2 visited St Lawrence’s Church today to look at all of the books which are used in church as part of our work in RE this half term about books.

We found out that there are over ten books used in church and that they all have special names and uses. Father Shaun told us all about each book and what the book was used for.

We all learnt so much. At the end we all said a quiet prayer and left church in a reverent way.
