Year 3 Class Liturgy

On Thursday Year 3 had an Advent Liturgy called ‘Cloth for the cradle’ where we prepared ourselves for the arrival of Jesus coming into our lives on Christmas day. Parents joined us as we lined the empty cradle with our promises of the good things we will do in preparation for the coming of Jesus.

To close the Liturgy, the children danced to Aled Jones ‘Candlelight’ where they recreated the image of Mary holding baby Jesus to the words ‘the Christ child is born.’

We were very proud of the children with how reverently and sincerely they participated in the Liturgy. They showed respect when they were praying and acted as true friends of Jesus.
