Year 5 at the Grainger Market

Today our amazing Year 5 pupils are at Grainger Market, Newcastle, selling the produce they have grown themselves as part of their School Food Matters project!

The children have worked incredibly hard planting, nurturing and harvesting their crops, developing valuable enterprise and teamwork skills along the way.

To make the day even more exciting, some of our pupils were interviewed on BBC Radio Newcastle, sharing their experiences and talking about their fantastic produce!

We are so proud of their enthusiasm, confidence and entrepreneurial spirit. If you're in the city today, why not pop along and support our young growers!
