Year 6 Leavers' Mass

Year 6 were glad to attend a leavers' Mass at St Mary's Cathedral with classes from schools across the city. This was a very prayerful and joyful celebration filled with opportunities for prayer, reflection and celebration. Our class representative read this prayer at the start of Mass, with some excellent ideas we can all reflect on: 

We thank you Lord for all the great things we have done in our schools. We have learnt so much, both inside and outside of the classroom; we have had fun; we have made many friends; we have grown up. Look after us as we prepare for a future in our new schools. Help us stay true to the faith and values that have been so important in our primary school.
