Art and Design in KS2

We look forward to Friday afternoon in KS2 when we have our Art or Design and Technology lessons.  This afternoon was a hive of activity.

Year 3 were constructing sculptures of the Angel of the North.

Year 5 were painting murals in the style of Diego Rivera.  They were thinking about how a mural can represent themselves.

Year 6 have designed Christmas Stockings and were working on the first stage – sewing the felt together.

What a creative afternoon we had!
