Natural Art in Reception

Our Reception children have been exploring patterns in nature, looking closely at spirals on snail shells and rings in tree trunks. Inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, they used natural materials like leaves, sticks, and stones to create their own patterns outdoors.

The children showed fantastic creativity, making repeating patterns and spiral designs while working together and sharing ideas. It has been a wonderful way to explore maths, art, and the beauty of nature all at once!
