Exciting electricity in Year 6

Year 6 carried on their electricity topic with a fantastic  workshop led by friend of the school ‘Technology Tom’.

We worked hard building circuits and understanding how real-life objects work.  We experimented with insulators and conductors, as well as inventing our own games.

We made our versions of  the old-fashioned game ‘buzz off’ and talked about how else these ideas could be applied in today’s world.

Lots of team work was involved and we discussed how important this was when  we got jobs in the future.
