Grouping and Sharing in Year 3!

This morning we had lots of fun in Year 3 taking part in a Grouping and Sharing Carousel. This is to consolidate our knowledge when grouping and sharing before moving onto formal division next week. We grouped and shared lots of concrete objects such as toy dinosaurs, playing cards, counters and dominoes. We also looked at some pictorial examples of objects to grouping and share. We then thought about writing number sentences with a division sign to explain our work.
