This week, our Reception children have been busy celebrating Harvest through lots of exciting activities!
We explored a variety of vegetables, looking closely at their shapes, colours, and sizes. The children enjoyed weighing them and then used their observations to create beautiful paintings, thinking carefully about colour and detail.
We also made our very own Harvest Crowns — they looked fantastic and the children wore them with pride!
One of the most exciting parts of the week was investigating pumpkins. The children developed their gross and fine motor skills by scooping out the insides and carefully picking up the slippery pips. It was messy, sensory fun and full of learning!
