Knots at Forest School

Today at Forest School, Year 5 Nurture Group learnt how to tie reef knots. They then use these knots to make woodland mobiles using interesting items they found in the woods such as feathers and pine cones. The children showed great resilience trying and again and again to learn the reef knot. Later whilst exploring, Tim found newts in the pond and used the Forest School library to learn about them. Did you know newts attach their eggs to underwater plants?
