KS2 Exciting Science

All pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 took part in a total of 10 experiments demonstrating the wonders of simple science.

Electric slime, dancing rice and sticky water were just some of the activities on offer.

The children loved the opportunity to see how science shapes our everyday lives.

Party hats, sweets and the amazing Oobleck (cornflower and water) were used as part of the afternoon’s apparatus.

Oobleck left everyone stunned.  When force is applied the substance becomes hard yet seconds later it goes back into a runny state. This means it is a liquid that does not follow Newton’s laws!
