Rugby Stars Visit St Lawrence’s

St Lawrence’s has teamed up with the Newcastle Falcons and the Greggs Foundation to introduce rugby skills at Breakfast Club.

Falcon’s academy stars Tom Marshall, who is in the Scotland under 20 squad, and Will Montgomery, who plays for England under 19, have been helping out, getting to know the children and showing them how exercise can be fun.

Mr Brown said, “It has been fantastic to have Tom and Will in school.  The children have been really interested in speaking to them about rugby.  It is also important they see what can be achieved if you work hard – and both Will and Tom are great examples of this.”

St Lawrence’s wishes Tom luck this summer at the under 20s World Cup as he plays for Scotland in Argentina.
