Service of Light 2020

On Wednesday 25th November Father Shaun led a beautiful Service of Remembrance in our school.
Year 5 joined Father in the hall and the rest of the school and many parents joined the service through ZOOM.
Some of the children from Year 5 read out some prayers and readings during the service.
Year 5 represented us all as they took up a candle for each of the members of our St Lawrence’s family who have passed away and we have been praying for in November.
Father read out all of the names which were hung on our Tree of Light then the the whole community in prayer. We all said the Eternal rest Prayer remembering our loved ones during silent reflection.
A number of Year 5 pupils took part in a Liturgical Dance around the Hail Mary Prayer.
This was a beautiful service which ended with a blessing from Father Shaun.
