Spelling Bee at St Lawrence’s

Over the last three weeks there has been a great buzz about spelling across St Lawrence’s.  The whole school has been avidly learning all of their class spelling lists.  Excitement has grown quickly, as we all participated in many spelling games, competitions and knock out rounds.  Eventually, we held a KS2 Spelling Bee in our school Hall – where the final three contestants from each class competed against the clock.  Congratulations to our winners: Albert in Y3, Vanessa in Y4, Alex in Y5 and Jesdina in Y6.  Mr Brown presented the winners and runners up with prizes.
