Stone Age Art in Year 3

Year 3 are really enjoying their Art unit so far. We have been thinking about prehistoric art and how people living in the Stone Age would have painted.

Last week we tried using charcoal and this week we collected other outdoor materials to try, such as leaves, grass, mud and berries! We tried adding water to bring out some of the colours. Some of us tried using a stick as a paintbrush, and others made marks with muddy rocks. We’re looking forward to our next lesson!
